Marbella - information about

Marbella is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, and a popular tourist destination. It belongs to the province of Malaga, which is a part of the Andalucían community.

The Marbella old town or "casco Antiguo" as it is called in Spanish is a very charming, comopolitan and at the same time kept in a very traditional style and atmosphere.

Visitng the Marbella Old town will trasport you back into the real Spanish culture with many small alleys and sidestreets to explore beyond and get lost in.

Marbella is a very cosmopolitan place with over 137 nationalities. It is fair to say that there are no foreigners here – everyone, regardless of where they are from, is invited to be part of the city.

Over 30 percent of the Malaga population comprises of people of foreign origin, and a vast majority of the people here are originally from outside Marbella. So when almost everyone is a foreigner, there is no such thing as a foreigner/local divide; and absolutely no racial or ethnic discrimination of any sort in Marbella.
